Dear Eric

Following your suggestion, I try to unset the display command and still I'm getting:

So the only errors seem to be:

"Shared memory id failure: Invalid argument"

and

"Warning: locale not supported by Xlib, locale set to C",

which is only a warning.


Once within aips, if I try to use something requiring the tv server, I get this error message (the fits image could be loaded withouth problems):

I don't see what else I can do to find out where the problem is. I've found on the NRAO web other "Mac AIPS problem" which are very similar to mine, but I couldn't find any answer.

Any suggestion will be more than welcome.
