New Staff Reply: aips installation on Mac OS X 10.6

The libreadline thing will affect whether AIPS runs or not.
If the AIPS program talks to you, it was not a problem.  In
fact it should not matter unless you compiled AIPS yourself
rather than using the binary version.

Did you reboot the computer after setting up the system files?
A reboot is required.
