New Staff Reply: SPECR bug?

I have found the bug - way down deep but in Fortran code
I understand not the OOP C structure building code I have
avoided looking at.  It is amazing but this bug has been
there for 12 or perhaps 20 years!  I have fixed it in 31DEC11
and will patch 31DEC10 after some time to make sure that
there was not some obscure reason for the offending line
of code.
