Does not look good.
I have removed those libraries from the aips rsync area and you should
remove them
rm $AIPS_ROOT/31DEC11/LINUX/LIBR/INTELCMP/libc*
Then you will have to upgrade your OS. The helpdesk people suspect that
you attempted to upgrade to a 64-bit kernel on a machine that cannot do
64-bit kernels. Be very careful to stay in the 32-bit kernel mode and
an upgrade should work. They do not remove support for hardware in new
releases, they just add more.
