New Ticket: gfortran is compatible?

Dear Mr/Mrs,

I have problems with the installation of AIPS in my laptop. When I try to start INSTEP2 and INSTEP4 using install.pl, I have problems to compile the subroutines. I'm using the gfortran compilator. Is it the problem?

Also I see that the folder .../AIPS_ROOT/31DEC11/LINUX/LOAD is almost empty... there is also the task XAS...
