The problem arises with data sets partly processed by the VLBA pipeline 
and written to the archive with FITAB.  The source table in those was 
processed before the observing data was known.  I have fixed the call to 
set the apparent positions to come after all is known instead.

Tomorrow's MNJ will fix this.
