New Staff Reply: AIPS TV is blank

When you run a display task such as UVPLT have you set
DOTV to 1?  If you have an image, try TVLOD on that image.
The AIPS TV remains black until something is actually drawn
to it.  A simple verb to try is TVANOT - do HELP TVANOT and
then try writing a string to the TV.

The AIPS TV is believed to work on 24-bit screens - it has
done so under Linux and your machine is also an Intel chip.
