DTSIM was an attempt, by someone who is no longer with NRAO and who left 
the AIPS group not long after his work on DTSIM, to produce a complex 
data simulator.  It was never finished or debugged so far as I know.  I 
suspect that you will find it frustrating and difficult to make it work 
properly.  Of course, you are welcome to try - but other examples of 
this person's coding have proven beyond even my ability to debug.
