Try:
cd $AIPS_ROOT
mv TEXT TEXT.SAVE
mkdir TEXT

and then run the MNJ.  Sometimes after an install mysterious things are 
not to cvs's liking and it refuses to continue.  Removing the file 
solves it if you can find the actual complaint, but sometimes one sees 
that complaint once if at all.
