[daip] AIPS Mac binary install - disk problem?

Hi,

I am here in Zurich trying to install and run AIPS on my Macbook
(Pro). I did a binary install, which appeared to run fine. I can load
data and run a number of programs and procedures, but  something
appears to be wrong with disk assignment and/or permissions. For
example, running the task snsmo I get:

There is only one disk defined, $AIPS_ROOT/DATA/LOCALHOST_1 (not
symbolically linked). The file SND00101.07E; is there, and has
r/w permission, but SCD001002.07E; is not.
