Hello!

I am attempting to access some data areas from within AIPS. I am
using the latest version of RedHat and the DEC07 vesion of AIPS. The
data I am attempting to access is located in a networked folder to
which I am not the owner, however the owner has given me full access
(except for the ability to delete files). All required NFS services
are running.

However, when I log in with the appropriate user ID and try to pcat,
I get the following:

 > pcat
AIPS 1: Catalog on disk 1
AIPS 1: Cat Usid Mapname Class Seq Pt Last access Stat
ZLOCK: No locks available
AIPS 1: ZERROR: ON FILE DA02:CAD000000.1E6;
AIPS 1: ZERROR: IN ZDAOPN ERRNO = 37 (No locks available)
ZLOCK: No locks available
AIPS 1: ZERROR: ON FILE DA03:CAD000000.1E6;
AIPS 1: ZERROR: IN ZDAOPN ERRNO = 37 (No locks available)
ZLOCK: No locks available
AIPS 1: ZERROR: ON FILE DA04:CAD000000.1E6;
AIPS 1: ZERROR: IN ZDAOPN ERRNO = 37 (No locks available)

And to check if AIPS is seeing the directories:

 > free
AIPS 1: Disk Volume name Total Full Free Timd Access
AIPS 1:  #                           blocks    %     blocks days
AIPS 1:  1  <PS/DATA/LOCALHOST_1  474331680    4  434408192  365 Alluser
AIPS 1:  2  <asmine/perlman/AIPS  132468128   74   33058048  365 Alluser
AIPS 1:  3  <semary/perlman/AIPS  245065856   63   85086176  365 Alluser
AIPS 1:  4  <e/perlman/polj_AIPS  132468128   74   33058048  365 Alluser

The file CAD000000.IE6 is present in all data areas.

Any ideas? Let me know if you need more information about anything.

Thanks,
Casey
