I have tested the program on our leopard system on AM959 and AH927 and
it works fine.
There are two things to try:
1. When it says it downloaded the file from the VLA web site it stores
it in /tmp with the above name. You could look at the file and see if
it has something odd about it - send it to me would help.
2. Place the attached file as $AIPSTARS/VLA.ant.2008 and try VLANT (it
should not copy anything in that case).
$AIPS_STARS is $AIPS_ROOT/TEXT/STARS/
