[daip] problems with APCAL

I've been having problems with the 31DEC06 version of APCAL, if I run 
APCAL from the 31DEC05 version
on the same data it works fine. Here is the MSGSERV output. I've gotten 
the same exact error on
multiple BL149 datasets, everytime it chokes on MK.
