[daip] VLBI questions

    To whom it may concern:

My name is chengyu, a graduate student in the department
of astronomy at the University of Virginia. I am working
with Dr. Jim Braatz at the NRAO now.

Recently, we have some problems in our new VLBA datasets.
We are not sure what actually cause these problems, and maybe
you can give some suggestions to us.

1. In our observations, there are 8 IF bands in total. When loading
the data from the tape to the disk with FITLD in AIPS, AIPS sorted
the data into two frequency IDs. Each freqID contains 4 IF bands.
However, out of our expection, there is almost no data in the second
freqID, so we are missing almost half of the data. We do try to use UVPLT
to show the data of the second IF, but the amount of the data is just
much much less than it should be. Maybe it is the problem when the data
was correlated? Or because we did load the data properly?

2. The other problem is the following: We used 12 antennas to make
our VLBI observations. When we looked into the GC and TY tables, the
information of all the antennas are there. However, when we printed
the antenna table (AN), there are only 11 antennas. The antenna in
St. Croix is missing. We are not sure about this problem as well.

We appreciate any of your suggestions or helps.

regards
chengyu
