[daip] 31DEC07 BInary Installation: Open SUSE 10.3

Dear AIPS Experts

I am, Ray Furuya at Subaru Telescope NAOJ, writing this email
hoping that you could kindly help me to install the 31DEC07
version of AIPS. Please note that I am trying to do binary instllation.

The errors occurred at the stage of FILAIP.EXE with a message of
"symbol lookup error:
/usr/local/tools/aips/31DEC07/LINUX/LOAD/FILAIP.EXE: undefined symbol:
__intel_cpu_indicator"

My system is the recently released Open SUSE 10.3. running on
Dell Precision M90 (32 bit machine), and have the latest version of
Intel Fortran Compiler of v.10.1.008.

In fact, Dr. Greisen suggested making a path to tell the location 
exlicitly (please see the mail in the below), but the errors remain 
(please find all the install message in the attached text). In addition, 
I found another error of "./MAKE.BMNJ: line 113: /usr/local/tools/aips/31DEC07/MACINT/.cvsignore: 
No such file or directory".

I attach a suggestion to try:

Indeed, I would expect the wrong dynamic libraries are being picked  
up. One way to tell is to do an ldd on the 31DEC07/LINUX/LOAD/ 
FILAIP.EXE file and see which intel libs it's finding. If the wrong  
libs are being picked up, prepend the 31DEC07/LINUX/LIBR/INTELCMP to  
the LD_LIBRARY_PATH and see what happens.
