Hi,

I have a very silly confusion. When we run JMFIT, it gives errors in
co-ordinates too. Eg:

localh> JMFIT1: Component 1-Gaussian
localh> JMFIT1: Peak intensity = 1.1682E-04 +/- 3.21E-05 JY/BEAM
localh> JMFIT1: Integral intensity= 1.7606E-04 +/- 7.39E-05 JANSKYS
localh> JMFIT1: X-position = 472.893 +/- 0.5412 pixels
localh> JMFIT1: Y-position = 444.888 +/- 0.7005 pixels
localh> JMFIT1: RA 22 42 34.81257 +/- 0.0070930
localh> JMFIT1: DEC 23 42 52.8398 +/- 0.126082

My question is, what are the units of error:
Eg: RA=22h 42m 34.8s +/- 0.007

Is this 0.007h or 0.007s?

Similarly in Dec, is it 0.126 degrees or 0.126"?

Sorry for this stupid confusion. I will appreciate quick reply.

Thanks
Poonam
