Hello,

   I wrote last week with some problems loading my VLBI data from tape.  The 
project ID is BB227B.  Amy helped with that problem (thank you!) and the data 
are loaded now on a single uvdata file.

   Now I am in the process of running VLBAFIX on the data, and I am concerned 
about how long it is taking.  MSORT has now been running for over 24 hours.  The 
project is a big one, but this seems abnormal to me, and the feedback (see 
below) isn't really telling me how far along the program is.  Should I kill it 
and maybe find a faster machine?  I am currently running it on lusus in CV, only 
because that's where the tape drive happened to be connected.  Fortunately, I 
made a copy of the uvdata file before I started the VLBAFIX.

   Another issue -- the cookbook recommends that the user run MERGECAL in such a 
way that new GC, TY, and PC tables are created, but once that is done VLBAFIX 
will not work.  I find this confusing.
