[daip] MACPPC binary install problem

Have you done a 
    source $AIPS_ROOT/LOGIN.CSH          (tcsh shell)
    . $AIPS_ROOT/LOGIN.CSH               (bash shell)
Then 
    echo $DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH
This should show references to
    31DEC07/MACPPC/LIBR/IBMCMP

You can also go to $SYSLOCAL and see if there is a 0-byte file
RSYNC.ME.  that is required.
