[daip] FITS format

Sort of - in the Going AIPS book somewhere - or are you writing IDI
convention?  It might be simpler to tell me about it in more detail or
make a small file available and let me run it and see what goes
wrong.  AIPS does attempt to implement the FITS properly but is
limited in what it can then use profitably.
