[daip] aips help

hi,

i tried installing AIPS on my computer and i'm having trouble with the
FILAIP file.  the install gets to this point and freezes.  i tried running
it by hand and it got to the the point where it asks for the setting numbers
so i entered 8 and 2 like it says on the help page and then it froze again.
any help would be greatly appreciated.  thanks,
