I've put the multi-source file (2GB) at:

I find the split problem with the following inputs (replace the getn,
obviously)

gainuse 3 also fails.
The 02185+31511 pointing has a strong source in it, which you'll
immediately see if you split off with both:
timer 0.958 0 0 0 0.978 0 0 0
source '02185+31511' ''

The calibrator is also not calibrated.
