[daip] AIPS installation query

Hi Eric

That's great, many thanks - seems to work happily now on the new machine.

I will try the upgrade soon - as a trial run I thought I'd try installing 
AIPS from scratch on a separate laptop so no chance of me messing anything 
up which currently works. It seems to have nearly worked but crashed once 
it got to FILAIP as it couldn't find the data areas - there are a few 
things I think I can check but I apologise in advance for the questions I 
will probably be sending you next week.

In the meantime, many thanks again for your help - very much appreciated
