[daip] Problems opening an xgterm for TKSERV under AIPS 31DEC07

Dear AIPS group,

I just installed the 31DEC07 AIPS version in my MACPPC laptop (10.4.0  
Mac OS X). Everything seems to run perfectly well, except for the  
TEKSERV.
The thing is that the "xterm" I used to have didn't render labels and  
text in the plots
for TEKSERV, so already under 31DEC06 AIPS I put the following  
variable in my .tcshrc file:

setenv AIPS_TEK_EMULATOR xgterm

That worked nice for the 31DEC06 version of AIPS.
However, it doesn't work under 31DEC07. The TKSERV attempts to use  
the xgterm, but
it says

"xgterm: Can't execvp setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH  ;/Users/maptorres/aips/ 
31DEC07/MACPPC/LOAD/TEKSRV.EXE"

and cannot be further used by AIPS.

If I change the variable to

setenv AIPS_TEK_EMULATOR xterm

and do

source $HOME/.tcshrc
aips

then the xterm that opens works OK, except for the awful thing  
mentioned above, i.e., labels and text are not visualized.

I would apprecciate your help to be able to run xgterm (or other  
"term" that allows to visualize everything OK).
