Well I'm not sure what to think now.  We have set aside 16MB for  
shared memory, and we have an integral number of pagesizes, your  
display should only want , 840400, so that should be plenty of shared  
memory.  It ought to work.

Send me along the output from

sysctl -a

I will look at it after lunch to see if I can understand the issue  
better.  Btw, what flavor of iMac is it?
