rsync seems to be working some although for some reason not reliably.

I need you to do some debugging here - the cause for the failures that
are fatal is that a particular directory appears to be missing or
unpopulated.

I need you to cd to $AIPS_ROOT/31DEC07/LINUX/SYSTEM and do an 

   ls -laF

If there are directories below this one then an ls -laF on them would
be instructive - there should be 3 MASTER, COAOARN, and UMASS.
