Thanks for the quick reply.
I tried with OUTFILE '' and I still got the
"I/O recursion: I/O started while already doing I/O
IO" message.
I also tried with OUTFILE 'MYDATA:filename'
and made sure that I had set the environment
variable MYDATA to my directory. I've done
that before in AIPS many times. That also
fails. echo $MYDATA returns /home/reid/
as it should.
