[daip] Problem with APCAL?

I attach an error message when I was running the utility VLBACALA in 
AIPS. All seems well until I try and read
the GC table. I get the same message if I try and just run APCAL, so it 
would seem it is not a problem with VLBACALA

I don't quite understand what is going on. From the aips source code 
MAXVAL is set to 10
and the GCVER I am attempting to read is 1 (ie table 1).

I have managed to run APCAL on other VLBA FITS files successfully. Is it 
of any relevance that I used
31DEC02 version of FITLD to load the data? The data were observed on 
June 17, 2005. Is there a problem with the GC table?
I don't know if there is an AIPS task to check the GC table.
