AIPS is now installed and I tested it without the TV or tapes (have you done the /etc/services thing?) I even checked and made the MNJ work. It failed to mail the report to you but otherwise ran fine. I put the do_daily script in $AIPS_ROOT. See http://www.aoc.nrao.edu/aips/aipsmgr/index.html for FAQs including the /etc services.
