Dear Sylvie,

Although I am not an expert on Solaris compilers, it looks like
the problem is you do not have a proper license for your c
compiler.  It doesn't look like a cc vs. cc-4.2 problem.  Did
you check that the FDEFAULT.SH had the right path(s)?

There is a binary install available for SUL systems, I do now
know if it will work on a SOL system.  Are you sure your system
is SOL?  I thought that was a very old operating system and
Solaris 9 certainly isn't old.
