[daip] Installing Aips on SunOS

Hello,
I am trying to install Aips on a SunOS system but I am having problems
with what I think is related to the compiler.
I have significant experience with installing on stand-alone desktops
and laptops on Linux, with ease. But it is the first time I try to
install Aips on a Sun server.
We have Solaris 9, and install.pl has identified SOL correctly as our
system. To install Aips, I have logged on a Sun workstation as root.
The problems start right after accepting the FDEFAULT.SH file and
it is having problem identifying the license file. I thus continued
anyway to hit "enter" just so I could see how far it would go. Then
it goes on with not being able to identify a "proper" cc compiler
and finally crash when trying to start INSTEP2.
In my /opt/SUNWspro/bin I have : cc -> ../SC5.0/bin/cc
but I also have cc-4.2 in that directory.
It is the same thing for f77.
Maybe cc should be pointing to cc-4.2 ?
I have attached an error file (cut/paste from screen) and also my
/softwares/SunOS/aips31dec05/31DEC05/SOL/SYSTEM/FDEFAULT.SH
