[daip] AIPS install problems

   The disk area $AIPS_ROOT/DA00 should have a DADEVS.LIST file.  The
area below that named EUROPA should have a whole bunch of files e.g.
BA*, SP* etc (where the * is the usual collection of numbers and ;).

what I wrote below you should type exactly.  They are not commands to
run inside aips - they are run at the command line level - although
the mysterious numbers etc are answers to questions these programs
ask.

    No - outside aips itself - if it were inside I would have shown
that.

The file below requires a disk - so maybe that does belong in the
EUROPA area so that it requires it only for europa.
