[daip] AIPS install problems

Hello there,

I'm hoping that you can fast-track me to a solution on my AIPS installation 
problems.

I've looked at your Web site, but can't find anything obvious to help me.

This is a new, first time installation of your SUN SPARC binary 31DEC04 
distribution.

IN SUMMARY:

Hardware: SUN SPARC 80 (dual CPU)
OS: Solaris 8
AIPS distribution: SUN SPARC binary 31DEC04, installed as user "aips", same 
UNIX group number (10) as users

Errors:

1. Don't know how to create/submit a valid user ID number
2. One user (steve) receives a "ZSTRTA.EXE: fatal: relocation error"

I have attached relevant error output, as files:

aips_aips.txt: error output for "aips" user
aips_sean.txt: error output for a common user
aips_steve.txt: error output for me (as a common user), showing the 
"ZSTRTA.EXE" error
