I am, as always, fairly clueless. If I parse you right, it
sounds like somehow the user's sandbox thinks there should
be a TEXT/UPDATE directory and the server disagrees; if the
user has a decent net connection, they can blow away TEXT/*
and the mnj should fetch it again and fix that problem. If
I had shell access to his system I'd look at the 3 files in
TEXT/CVS and compare them with files on a system that doesn't
have that error.
