3.3.3 is the standard "bad" compiler that we have encountered.  You
need to rebuild with a 3.2.3 or 3.2.2 compiler which you may have to
install on your machine.  Alternatively, you can replace your current
installation with a binary installation - where you copy all the
binaries from us.  That is suspect unless you run RedHat 9 but may
well work.

To do a binary installation, use a current install.pl and type

perl install.pl -n

The -n tells it to do a network install.
