       This is the way you must do it.  The procs WRITDISK and READISK
are in

RUN WRTPROCS 

and would be the easiest way to go.  The former is run on the sparc
machine, the latter then on the linux machine.

It is good that you still have both.  I hear too often from people who
have lost the solaris machine.
