[daip] aips error

Did you just install AIPS?  I sounds as if some of the initialization
programs have not been run.

cd $AIPS_ROOT
source LOGIN.CSH            (or . LOGIN.SH)
$CDTST
RUN FILAIP
15 -100
6 2
4
RUN POPSGN
0 POPSDAT TST
1

Then try aips again.  The default password if requested is AMANAGER.
