[daip] Running aips remotely

Hello,

I have a couple of questions:

1)
I was wondering what type of windows should be opening up when aips is 
run from a remote computer through ssh when the local machine does not 
have a copy of aips installed.

2)
A user is trying to connect to a remote machine that is running aips and 
her machine is also running aips.  The machine she is connecting to has 
recently been upgraded to the 31DEC04 version.  When connecting she gets 
these errors:
