Oh I am so unobservant - it says "unknown host" again. The network name resolution is failing in your laptop again. It does not recognize shadowfax as an IP address. The usual program that does this is nslookup. Perhaps the locals can help... or try running nslookup shadowfax and see what happens. ERic
