[daip] FILLM failed?

There is a change in mode at the start of file 8 that appears to be
confusing and breaking FILLM.

As a work around run FILLM twice

a) NFILES=0; NCOUNT=7

b) NFILES=7; NCOUNT=8

Please do not delete the data just yet - I want to see if I can find
the bug.
