Hello Eric,
I found my problem - /home/space1/aips//TEXT/ is symbolically linked to a
disk that wasn't mounted on my machine, so mounting it allowed aips to
find the file. It therefore doesn't appear to be an installation problem.
I am observing at L-band, at around 1400 MHz. Do the gains matter much
in this part of the spectrum?
Thank-you for your help,
Kristine
