[daip] An AIPS question

Dear Drs. Greisen and Mioduszewski


I am, Ray Furuya, a postdoc at Caltech OVRO group,
writing this email to inquire question about AIPS
tasks. In fact, Meri, in Socorro, suggested me to
ask directly to you.


Using VLA archive data which were taken by different
PI's by different array configurations, but the same
frequency set-up, I'd like to combine these data.


The problem I have is that I have to shift phase
tracking centers of these observations. Of course,
I am going to "DBCON" after getting the final
calibrated UV data for each slot.  Before doing
"DBCON", is there a task to shift source positions ?
I've checked the Cookbook, but I could not find it,
so I greatly appreciate your help. In my case,
I'd like to shift 3 arcsec to combine it with other
data.
