Your save/get files are trashed.  Press control-c to get out of AIPS (it
won't even know the exit or quit command), then try to get in again.  If
the problem persists, try using a different UserID.  That will most
likely work.  If it does, go to the directory that is you "Disk 1", e.g.

       cd /DATA/FOO_1/

and if your userid is 2426 (ehex 1VE), do this:

       rm SGD1VE*.1VE\;

This will get rid of the bad "lastexit" save/get file, but unfortunately
it'll blow away all your other save/get files too.  However, your UserID
(2426) will be usable again.

Leonia or Amy can correct me if there's a better way to get around this,
but I've had to resort to this for a few people here in C'ville over the
years.
