[daip] laptop installation

Dear Aips,

I have just installed AIPS on my PowerBook G4. The installation went
smoothly enough but now I can't get AIPS running. when i type

source login.sh

the response is :

AIPS_ROOT=/Users/admin/Desktop/AIPS: Command not found.
tcsh: LAPTOP=YES: Command not found.
tcsh: export: Command not found.
tcsh: export: Command not found.

my HOSTS.LIST looks like

+LOCALHOST MACPPC AIPSBECK NONE Put description here

and if i type ./START_AIPS

the response is:

 LOCALHOST is not defined in HOSTS.LIST; cannot start AIPS.

so i frankly don't know how to start aips at this point.

can you give me any ideas?
