[daip] FRING problem

Hi Amy,

Looks like I have encoutnered a problem running FRING.
Eric says you have found a bug in FRING that causes an infinite loop.
Indeed, the task makes cpu become very busy when FRING stops 
putting out messages.

Yes, of course, see an attachement. I have 256 channels.
