[daip] problem with UVFLG + EDITA

Hi there,
I am having a strange problem when using UVFLG in combination with
EDITA. I started flagging with QUACK and EDITA. Now I tried to flag
certain complete scans for some antennas because of failed reference
pointings. I am doing this with UVFLG like follows (or similar):
task 'uvflg'; default
reason 'failed pointing'
flagver 2
getn 1
timerang=scantime(2)
antennas 2,4,9,15,0
timerang(4)=timerang(4)-2.5; timerang(8)=timerang(8)+2.5
go
(I am using FLAGVER 2 because I copied the first FG table to version 2
to keep a backup in version 1.)
PRTAB shows that indeed some records have been appended to the FG2
table. The problem is now that when I view the data with EDITA (using
FLAGVER=2), the scans flagged by UVFLG still appear in the plot as if
nothing had happened.
When I display the data with TVFLG or VPLOT, all flagged data do
disappear as expected.
Is there any known incompatibility with the flags written by UVFLG and
EDITA? I am using AIPS version 31DEC02 on a linux PC.
Any hints would be welcome!
Cheers
Olaf
