The following is an extruction of the new help.
Do you think it is clear now?

             'ATMO' => apply atmospheric delay corrections using 
                       zenith delay for the antennas and times given  
                       at the input file. The values given at the 
                       zenith delay correspond to the desired correction.
                       The correction recalculated to delay and phase 
                       is added (with sign) to the relevant column
                       of the CL table.
                       Example 1. Correlator did not provide any
                                  atmosphere correction. The atmosphere
                                  delays are positive. The corrections
                                  at the INFILE should be negative. 
                                  Therefore:
                                  All infile entries are negative.
                       Example 2. The correlator model used 210 cm
                                  delay for zenith.
                                  The actual atmosphere delay on the
                                  given antenna is 220cm. Thus 
                                  CLCOR has to make additional 
                                  correction of -10cm, the relevant 
                                  INFILE entries should be near -10cm
