I do not want to get into an argument about documentation  submitted
to us by others - as the initial appendices are.

I was unaware that XMOM transferred the 1st axis in average form to
the last as it apparently does.  Nonetheless, if your objects are out
in the beam enough that they are significantly affected by the beam,
then the fitting of a spectral moment prior to PBCOR is incorrect.

That is why I added to XMOM the ability to adjust the cutoff levels
for the beam.

MOMNT is an old and difficult program, but perhaps I should try to add
that option to it as well.  Since the single-dish beam is a function
of frequency the primary beam correction can matter when doing
functions over frequency.  The student that wrote Appendix B may have
been unaware of this nicety.
