The problem is not with FDEFAULT.sh but CCOPTS.SH - the C routines are not compiling. Did your .AIPSRC file come from the 31DEC01 install. It may have C options including -I$INC with the $INC translated to the 31DEC01 location. That usually does not matter unless you have deleted it. Eric
