Sorry; I had intended to respond but other things interrupted me.  This is
a frequently asked question, and 8 or 24 bits is what you need to use, not

No error message?  The registration stuff is cosmetic, but there may be
other things you want to tweak, such as item 35 (Computer Speed Rating).
