[daip] Problem with AIPSASSN.SH

Ok, let me start from the beginning.

I was working here at Trinity last summer with David Hough, and we were
using the 31DEC01 version of AIPS. It worked. This summer I found that
there was an '02 version, and I was starting a brand new data set, so I
decided to install the newer version.

So I changed the name of AIPS_ROOT/ to OLD_AIPS/, deleted the .AIPSRC
(or something like that) file in my home directory, and installed '02
following the install wizard guide.

Everything seemed to do ok, but now when I run AIPS, it complains that
AIPSASSN.SH has an unexpected end of file. Ok, I thought, the new
version has a few bugs, but then I went to OLD_AIPS and tried to run
LOGIN.SH (and by extension AIPSASSN.SH), and it gave the exact same error.

So now I figure I must have missed a system file somewhere, outside the
AIPS_ROOT directory, and the new installation didn't overwrite it. Do
you have any idea what that file might be, or suggestions on what I
might have done differently?

Thanks much,
